Schoolwires came to 90 Degree Media looking to help generate leads for the sale of their mobile app. The app is designed to connect k-12 school districts with the parents and students. I was contracted to create the design and illustrations for the project as well as develop the structure of the tool. The design emphasizes the bright secondary palette from the company’s brand and uses simple yet fun illustrations to supplement the information being given. The website is built with a large amount of Javascript and jQuery. It utilizes Skrollr, a fantastic parallax scrolling script by Alexander Prinzhorn. The application’s goal is to entertain viewers with an experience while teaching them some handy tips about k-12 community engagement along the way.
